Jerry and Annette bring a wide range of knowledge and experience to their work, allowing them to truly understand and meet their clients' needs. From working as a property inspector with DND, to building homes hands-on—both for others and themselves—to teaching business education, real estate was a natural next step. With over 40 years of combined service, their expertise shines through in every buying and selling experience.

In 2010, they opened the first Keller Williams franchise in Atlantic Canada and have since grown the company from 40 agents to over 250, with multiple offices across Nova Scotia and PEI. Dedicated to continuous learning, they actively pursue professional development, including courses through the Nova Scotia Home Builders Association and local real estate board programs.

Melissa grew up immersed in the real estate industry, learning the business firsthand from her parents, Jerry and Annette. While pursuing her education, she worked as an administrative assistant for them, gaining valuable experience along the way. She earned a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Accounting and a Human Resource Certificate from Saint Mary’s University in Halifax.

After graduating, Melissa took on the role of Assistant Director at Maritime Dance Academy, where she had spent years dancing and instructing in jazz, tap, ballet, and modern. However, real estate was always a natural fit. She obtained her real estate license in 2010 and joined her parents' team at Keller Williams Select Realty.

Over the years, Melissa's leadership and expertise have propelled her career forward. She became a Managing Associate Broker at Keller Williams Select Realty and, in 2021, took on the role of Operating Principal.

Allison MacPherson joined The Jerry and Annette Murphy Team in November 2015, bringing with her nearly 23 years of real estate experience. A dedicated mother of four, Allison plays a key role in managing the administrative side of the business—coordinating listings and sales, handling client communications, managing advertising, and ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

Born and raised in Halifax, Trevor Howse is a proud father and husband with a passion for helping people find the right place to call home. He began his real estate career in 2019 and has since built a strong foundation serving clients across all walks of life, with a special focus on relocation—whether moving from another province or another country.

Trevor is currently expanding his expertise in home construction through a carpentry diploma at NSCC, further enhancing the guidance he offers clients throughout the buying and selling process.
